THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE SPEED OF RESPONSE OF A LINEAR RATEMETER AND THE AMPLITUDE OF ITS RANDOM FLUCTUATIONS

Journal Article · · Nucl. Instr. Methods
There is a relationship between the fluctuation of the reading of a ratemeter for a random input and its speed of response. This relationship is put into a quantitative form by deriving a minimum fluctuation that is possible for a given speed of response. The theory of a linear ratemeter is considered in a general form, which does please delete the above abstract----
