THE INTERNATIONAL ATOMIC ENERGY AGENCY'S COORDINATED RESEARCH PROGRAM ON ISOTOPE TECHNIQUES IN RICE CULTIVATION

Journal Article · · Proc. Japan Conf. Radioisotopes
OSTI ID:4691471
The inception of a coordinated contract research program sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) is described. The program on the application of isotope techniques to rice cultivation serves as a typical example of the activities of the IAEA Unit of Agriculture in southeast Asia. Studies of fertilizer use in rice cultivation employing labeled superphosphate are reviewed. (H.M.G.)
