The successive utilization of the time-of-flight technique to measure with precision some mean cross sections ( DELTA E == 10 kev) and a direct beam without modulation to obtain a very high resolution in energy ( DELTA E = 4 kev) and a good ment of the total cross section of P for neutrons at 830 to 1200 kev with a mean error of 3%. The variation curve has numerous sharply separated levels. (tr-auth)
