X-ray and metallographic studies were made on pressure-sintered, vacuum - annealed and arc -melted alloys in the ternary systems Th--Mo--C and U--Mo--C, and a distribution of the phase fields at 1400 and 1800 deg F (900 deg C) respectively, was undertaken. With the exception of U/sub 2/C/sub 3/, the known phases in the boundary systems, as well please delete the above abstract------
