The characteristics of Rb and Cs at temperatures up to about 2000 l F are being evaluated. The program includes studies of the boiling heat transfer and two-phase flow characteristics and measurements to determine the latent heat of vaporization, density, specific heat, viscosity, thermal conductivity, and electrical resistivity of the liquid phases of Rb and Cs. A discussion of some of the details of fabrication of the test section for the heat transfer loop is included. Operational details in the thermodynamic properties study are also described. (auth)
