THE ENERGY LEVELS OF I$sup 12$$sup 9$

The energy levels of I/sup 129/ are studied through the BETA /sup -/ decay of Te/sup 129m/ and Te/sup 129/, employing two NaI(Tl) scintillation spectrometers in coincidence arrangement. The gamma rays detected have energies of 27, 212, 475, 720, the coincidence experiments a probable energy level scheme for I/sup 129/ is proposed. (auth)
