Journal Article · · Helvetica Chimica Acta (Switzerland)
OSTI ID:4685657
S>The whole-body counter of Geneva was calibrated for Cs/sup 137/ measuremerts by using a Cs/sup 137/ standard solution and a Cs/sup 137/ standard solution, furnished by the IAEA. One energy band 150 kev wide from 575 to 726 kev was selected as the Cs/sup 137/ photopeak band. The measurements, made on six cases, yield a calibration factor of 7510 counts per minute per mu C of Cs/ sup 137/ in the body. The sensitivity is plus or minus 2%. (auth)
