APPLICATION OF XYLENOL ORANGE TO SPECTROPHOTOMETRIC DETERMINATION OF RARE EARTHS (in Polish)

Journal Article · · Chemia Analityczna (Warsaw) (Poland)
OSTI ID:4677716

Xylenol orange was applied as a complexing agent for the spectrophotometric determination of the sum of rare earths or individual elements of the group, after their separation. The influence of wave length, pH and rare earth concentration on the absorption was investigated. The rare earth complexes with xylenol orange obey the Lambert-Beer's Law at trol migration = 576 m in the concentration range 0.5 to 4.0 g/ml. (auth)
