DEBYE-HUCKEL PLASMA CORRECTIONS
The physical model recentiy used by McGee and Heller to compute the thermodynamic properties of gaseous plasma is questioned. For the medium-density plasma, the Debye-Huckel theory of point charges is adequate and provides both a cutoff for the electroric partition function and a lowering of the ionization potential. The difficulties of the high-pressure plasma model are mentioned briefly. (auth)
