The program Louise II, in Fortran for the IBM 7090, cal culates the critical flux and criticality constant of a reacto in the few group approximation in two dimensions. An iterative variational technique is used making the program operatively faster than a similar code (PDQ) using a finite differences method. Sample problems and the Fortran listing are included.
