Results are given of measurements of the Cs/sup 137/ activity in the human body, milk, and air over a two-year period. They show that after a continuing decrease in activity since 1959, the levels of Cs/sup 137/ in the biosphere have taken a sharp rise since the fall of 1961. The latest figure for the Cs/sup 137/ burden in man is 10/sup -2/ mu c, one three-thousandths of the occupational maximum permissible burden.
