INVESTIGATION OF d-d REACTIONS IN ALUMINUM SELF-TARGETS (in German)
The loading of aluminum with deuterium by bombardment with deuterons (to 100 kev) was investigated. The dependence of the neutron yields from the reaction H/sup 2/(d,n)He/sup 3/ + 3.26 Mev in this self-target on irradiation time, target temperature accelerator voltage, and current density was studied. The results were explained with the help of a diffusion representation. (tr- auth)
