Vacuum-arc melted specimens of Mo- Zr, containing 0.005 to 0.5% Zr and given amounts of Ti, Cr, WC, and O were homogenized from 1950 to 2000 deg C and deformed 25% by forging at 20 deg C with subsequent diffusion annealing at 1700 to 2000 deg C. Mo self diffusion and activation energy coefficients were determined using Mo 9 tracers. The effects of diffusion temperature, Zr concentration, and degree of cold reduction on the diffusion coefficient were also investigated. (Rev. Metal Lit., 20: No. 1, Jan. 1963)
