WIDE-RANGE RADIATION MONITOR FOR CIVIL PROTECTION (in Spanish)

A simple, light, sturdy radiation monitor with a wide detection range, designed for civilian use, is described. The instrument can measure gamma levels between 1 mr/hr and 10 r/hr. The monitor can be fed by line voltage or by batteries. The detection circuit, amplifier and pulse integrator circuit, the operation circuit, alarm circuit, and feed circuit are discussed and shown diagrammatically. (J.S.R.)
