4-C/sup 14/-labeled cholesterol was utilized for studying its distribution in blood serum lipoprotein fractions of healthy rabbits and animals with experimental atherosclerosis. The fact of inclusion of exogenous, 4-C/sup 14/-labeled cholesterol in particular, into the lipoprotein fractions was established. Inclusion in beta-lipoprotein fraction was more intensive in animals with experimental atherosclerosis. (auth)
