Chromosomal assignment of 2900 tri- and tetranucleotide repeat markers using NIGMS somatic cell hybrid panel 2
- Univ. of Iowa, Iowa City, IA (United States); and others
This article discusses the genetic mapping of 2931 tri- and tetranucleotide short tandem repeat polymorphisms (STRPs) to human chromosomes using the NIGMS somatic cell hybrid mapping panel 2. Many chromosomes contained portions of other chromosomes, especially chromosomes 6, 14 and 20. 13 refs., 2 figs., 4 tabs.
