ON THE STRATOSPHERIC FALLOUT OF BOMB-PRODUCED CERIUM ISOTOPES
Journal Article

A pronounced spring peak of the cerium fallout is observed in 1960 and also in 1961 in rain samples collected at Fayetteville, Arkansas. After the fall 1961 USSR test series, the Ce/sup 144/ concentration in rain increases sharply, whereas the Ce/sup 141/ /Ce /sup 144/ ratio data indicate the absence of significant fractionation of these isotopes in the atmosphere.
