APPLICATION OF THE METHOD OF CALCULATION OF INTENSITY RATIOS TO THE DETERMINATION OF IMPURITIES IN ALUMINUM AND SAP (in Italian)

The method of determination of intensity ratios is applied to the determination of impurities in Al and SAP. Curves for determining the impurities are drawn, based on a standard sample of 99.5%-pure Al. The results are compared with those obtained by classical calibration methods. The presence of Al in varying concentrations in SAP does not seem to influence the spectrographic determination of the impurities, although certain anomalies are observed. (tr- auth)
