MAGNETIC PROPERTIES OF SCANDIUM SINGLE CRYSTALS (in Russian)

Journal Article · · Zh. Eksperim. i Teor. Fiz.
OSTI ID:4660340
The magnetic properties of a scandium single crystal obtained by recrystallization annealing are investigated. The magnetic susceptibility is measured in the temperature range from 77 to 1100 deg K. The susceptibility is greater in a direction parallel to the c axis than in the perpendicular direction. For both directions the paramagnetic Curie point is determined and found to be negative.
