RADIOLYSIS OF CARBON TETRACHLORIDE IN THE PRESENCE OF AIR AND OXYGEN

Journal Article · · Intern. J. Appl. Radiation Isotopes
In the radiolysis of CCl/sub 4/, it was found that very strict differentiation must be made according to its purity, presence of oxygen, presence of dry-air, and presence of air with water-vapor. Estimation of yields, influence of temperature and oxygen, and the mechanism of radiolysis are described. (P.C.H.)
