An upper limit of 1 nsec was established for the lifetime of the 214-kev level of Teizi by delayed-coincidence meas urements. This lifetime gives an upper limit of 400 for the Ml retardation factor, not small enough to exclude the lforbidden assignment for the transition from this level. (D.C.W.)
