THE EFFECT OF ISOTOPE ABUNDANCES ON THE NEUTRON-ABSORPTIOMETRY TECHNIQUE

To obtain accurate analyses by neutron absorptiometry it is essential that the isotope abundance of the element determined be the same as that of the calibration standard. The effect was used for the comparison and determination of B/sup 10/ isotope abundances in various boron hydrides. Precision is in the plus or minus 0.1% relative range. (auth)
