The problem is discussed of building fast transistorized pulse amnplifiers with a dynamic range of about 10v. A prototype circuit is presented exhibiting the following characteristics: voltuge gain, 10; rise time, max 4.5 nsec., min 2.5 nsec; max output pulse, -- 12v; input and output on coaxial cable; good frequency overloading and good stability against room temperature variations.
