A summary is given of some of the analyical methods and test data which can be used in designing radiationresistant solar cell power systems. Prediction of solar cell degradation for earth satellites is hindered by inadequate knowledge of the fluxes and energy spectra of electrons and protons in the magnetosphere. Radiation effects on solar cell cover slide materials, adhesives, transistors, and diodes are considered. (D.L.C.)
