ENERGY STORED IN PURE IRON IRRADIATED BY FAST NEUTRONS AT 78 K (in French)

Journal Article · · Compt. Rend.
OSTI ID:4629165
The use of a very sensitive differential-enthalpy analytic device permits the observation of four internal-energy maxima in samples of pure Fe irradiated at 78 deg K. The study of the two primary maxima, whose profiles are quite well defined, leads to an interpretation based on the kinetics of the recovery process. This interpretation is in agreement with results obtained by electric resistivity and magnetic training in identical samples. (tr-auth)
