"DUOPLASMATRON" ION SOURCE WITH 150 mamp PULSES PER MICROSECOND (in French)

A duoplasmatron source to obtain ion pulses up to 150 mamp for 1 mu sec was studied. With a recurrence of 2260 per second, the mean current reaches 400 mu amp, and the hydrogen consumption is approximately 4 cm/sup 3//hr at atmospheric pressure. (tr-auth)
