THE DECAY OF Mg$sup 2$$sup 7$

Two NaI detectors were used to observe gamma - gamma coincidences in Mg/sup 27/ decay. No evidence for the 0.84--0.81 and 0.84-1.01-Mev cascades reported by Ciufolotti and Demichelis as evidence for 1.65 and 1.83-Mev levels in Al/sup 27/ was obtained. (D.C.W.)
