Correlated sampling technique has been applied to the fission matrix approach for Monte Carlo eigenvalue calculation of reactivities ({Delta}K) due to small cross-section perturbations. The reference Monte Carlo simulation is performed in a system different from both the unperturbed and perturbed systems. This allows the determination of multiple {Delta}K`s due to multiple cross-section perturbations with a single Monte Carlo simulation and a corresponding significant reduction in computational effort. The method has been tested for one energy group transport problems with isotropic scattering.
