Palladium-catalyzed vinylation of aryl chlorides. Chelate effect in catalysis
- Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot (Israel)
Direct vinylation of aryl chlorides is promoted by a dippb ligand (dippb = 1,4-bis(diisopropylphosphino)butane) coordinated Pd complex. The authors discuss the sensitivity of the reaction to various substituents on the aromatic ring and the nature of the phosphine ligand. 12 refs., 2 tabs.
