The environmental factors include the following: hazardous waste management and cleanup; underground storage tanks and fuel lines; air quality issues; radioactive wastes; unexploded ordnance; water and sewer systems; landfills; asbestos, pesticides, and lead-based paints; endangered species, wetlands, coastal protection, tidal lands, and historic and cultural resources.
