Atomic absorption determination of ruthenium (in Russian)

Atomic absorption spectrophotometry is critically evaluated as a method for the determination of ruthenium. With careful matrix compensation, reliable results can be obtained down to lower concentration limits of 0.5 mg/ml. Palladium, platinum, rhodium, iron, copper, and nickel interfere strongly with the determination of ruthenium in chloric acid solutions. Ionization intenferences should be controlled by adding a large amount of lanthanum chloride (3%) to the samples and standards. (auth)
