See CONFThe results of hydraulic similarity tests on mock-ups are presented, in order to examine the mixing effect due to helicoidal wires mounted on the pins of a bundle having a triangular array. The results obtained from experiments and calculation are compared, and predictions are given of the influence of mixing on the temperature distribution of sodium in two Phenix subassemblies, as compared to the results of a calculation assuming independent channels.
