Radiative corrections up to the 8th order of the perturbation theory to the e/sup +/e/sup -/ elastic scattering amplitude are calculated at high energies and fixed momentum transfers. This enables one to get the e/sup +/e/sup -/ total interaction cross section as a sum of the eikonal expression and two terms corresponding to the Bethe-Heitler mechanism of the e/sup +/e/sup -/ pair production. On the other hand, the total cross section is a sum of the elastic scattering cross section, the brehmsstrahlung of one and two gamma quanta. the electron-positron pair production. Therefore it is possible to express the slope of the Dirac form factor at q/sup 2/ = 0, that determines the elastic cross section, in terms of cross sections for other high-energy processes. An excellent agreement between the high-energy and low-energy calculations is obtained. (auth)
