Controls and instrumentation for Shimane Nuclear Power Station (in Japanese)

Journal Article · · Hitachi Hyoron, v. 55, no. 8, pp. 827-832
OSTI ID:4417533
The safety criterion imposed on nuclear power plants is much more stringent than for conventional power plants. In fact, no failure whatsoever is considered permissible for reactors or for protective deviccs for reactors. The controls and instrumentation for a BWR-type nuclear power plant are described with specific reference to the control equipment for the Shimane Nuclear Power Station, Chugoku Electric Power Co. Quality control at the power plant is also discussed. (auth)
