From 5th symposium on the structure of low medium mass nuclei; Lexington, Kentucky, USA (26 Oct 1972). See CONFThe Sussex matrix elements are used to derive effective irteractions in the model space of the p-, sd-, and upper part of the sd-shell including some pf excitations. The structure of A = 6 to 13 nuclei (including magnetic dipole moments and energy-level properties), energy levels of A = 18 to 22 nuclei, and configuration mixing of the df and dp multiplets of /sup 38/Cl (including the energy spectra, binding energies, excitation energies, M1 transition strengths, multiplets. and spectroscopic factors) are discussed.
