Model for exposure to a semi-infinite cloud of a photon emitter

In Health Physics Division annual progress report for period ending July 31, 1973. The radiation dose absorbed by human body organs at various depths was estimated for exposure to a semi-infinite /sup 85/Kr cloud. Computer analysis of the /sup 85/Kr decay scheme was used to provide data for calculations of the absorbed dose per monoenergetic photons emitted. The absorbed dose at various depths in organs was calculated using an adult human phantom with 85 geometrical subregions in the trunk. (CH)
