Theory of isomer ratios of shape isomers in heavy ion induced reactions

A method for the calculation of excitation functions and isomer ratios, for shape isomers, in heavy ion induced reactions is proposed. The calculated values of excitation functions and isomer ratios agree very well with the experimental values for the reaction 238U(/sup 11/B, alpha 3n)242Am.
