Conference ·
OSTI ID:4383268
From 3rd symposium on sharing of computer programs and technology in nuclear medicine; Miami, Florida, USA (16 Jun 1973). In proceedings of third symposium on sharing of computer programs and technology in nuclear medicine. A nuclear medicine imaging system, NUMEDICS, was developed in order to study the problems of on-line data handling under realistic conditions. Advantages of the multiprogramming approach to data handling are discussed. Special emphasis is given to scintigraphic display techniques and examples of functional imaging of regional cerebral blood flow and regional pulmonary perfusion are used to illustrate potential improvements in processing speed and presentation of dynamic function measurements.
