Application of $sup 86$Rb and $sup 85$Rb as potassium tracer in investigations of potassium nutrition of plants (in Russian)

Two methods for using /sup 86/Rb and /sup 85/Rb as a K tracer are presented. In the first method, /sup 86/Rb is used in the presence of /sup 86/Rb inthe feed solution in a ratio to K of 1:2. In the second method, only /sup 85/ Rb is used in a ratio in the feed solution of Rb to K of 1:2. Formulas are given for determining the coefficient of discrimination of Rb relative to K for /sup 86/ Rb and /sup 85/Rb and for calculating the amount of K (% of total) entering from fertilizer. The possibility was shown of studying the uptake of N, P, and K by plants when they are introduced into the soil together. (tr-auth)
