In order to determine the order of magnitude of the radiation dose during x-ray diagnosis and to reduce the radiation dose itself, apperative, organizational, and structural engineering radiation protective measures have to be taken. This is valid for pre-testing and acceptance testing of x-ray devices and for recurring inspections of operating devices. These tests are discussed with a view to the regulations of the X-Ray Ordinance. (GE)
