Phase equilibria in the W--Cr--Zr system at 1200 and 1500$sup 0$C (in Russian)

By metallographic and x-ray analyses and determination of the fusion temperature, it was shown that in the ternary system W-Cr-- Zr at 1200 and 1500 deg C a continuous series of solid solutions are formed between the intermetallides ZrW/sub 2/ and ZrCr/sub 2/ with a cubic structure of the MgCu/sub 2/ type. In the ternary system a region of dissociation of the W- and Cr-based solid solutions in which Wand Cr-based solid solution and intermetallic phase coexist. This region narrows during temperature increase. (tr-auth)
