A study was made to determine the best steam cycle arrangement and reactor power requirement for a package power reactor system to supply a remote army station requiring 1OOO kw of electricity and 250 boiler horsepower (7.55 x 10/sup 6/ Btu/hr) of steam heating load. It was assumed that gross electric power requirement would be 1300 kw of electricity. (auth)
