Effect of $sup 85$Kr $beta$ radiation on the mitotic activity of corneal epithelium and spermatogenesis (in Russian)

OSTI ID:4351481
Krypton-85 BETA rdiation at a dose of 7.4 krd leads to the appearance of clinical symptoms of eye disease, which corresponds to the symptomatics of acute rdioconjunctivitis and radioblepharitis with subsequent total or partial counter development of inflammatory processes. The acute single effects of/sup 85/Kr BETA radiation cause pathological changes in the mitotic apparatus of the coreal epithelium with no indications of recovery within a month after irradiation at a dose of 7.4 krd. The spermatogenesis activity after/sup 85/Kr irradiation at doses of 2.5 and 7.4 krd does not undergo substantial change. (tr- auth)
