Book ·
OSTI ID:4351199
From international nuclear industries fair; Basel, Switzerland (16 Oct 1972). For light water reactors, very fast refueling can reduce the effect of failed fuel on operator exposure and release of fission products to the environment by quickly detecting and removing fuiled fuel. Equipment and procedures are being developed that make possible a refueling outage in about five days for an 1100 MW(e) BWR. (auth)
