In the serum of 155 patients being irradiated for different diagnoses investigations were made of the changes and activity of the following testing enzymes (excretory and secretory ones); glutamate oxalacetate transaminase, glutamate pyruvate transaminase, malate dehydrogenase, cholinesterase, lactate dehydrogenase, alkaline phosphatase, smylase, and leucine aminopeptidase. Under the influence of the performed radiation therapy an increased frequency of cases with pathologicslly chsnged enzymatic activity was found being most pronounced in ChE, LDH, and Am; this increase is important for diagnosis and therapy.
