Translated from Prib. Tekh. Eksp.; 16: No. 4, 61-62(1973). The principal parameters of industrial three-electrode Geiger-Mueller counters with smooth control of the sensitivity are considered. The sensitivity of the instruments can be varied at least by a factor of 2 by applying a controlled positive potential to a specially introduced control electrode. (auth)
