THE INTERACTION OF 0.15- TO 1.0-Mev NEUTRONS WITH U-238, U-235, AND Pu-239

The differential elastic scattering, total elastic scattering. and elastic transport cross sections for U/sup 238/, U/sup 235/ and Pu/sup 239/ for 0.5- and l.0-Mev neutrons are presented. The nonelastic reaction cross sections are given for these three materials for neutron energics of 0.25, 0.5, and l.0 Mev and in addition for U/sup 238/ for 0 l5-Mev neutrons. The inelastic scattering cross scctions for the excitation of the two lowest levels in U/sup 238/ are also presented for neutron energies of 0.l5, 0 25. and 0.5 Mev. (auth)
