Fast neutron spectra in standard seed irradiation facilities for TRIGA reactors

From symposium on the effects of neutron irradiation upon cell function; Nuremberg, Germany (22 Oct 1973). The measurement of fast neutron spectra in the Standard Seed Irradiation Facilities for TRIGA reactors with the help of threshold detectors is described. Nine different threshold detectors with threshold energies between 0.7 and 12 MeV are used, and the induced activities are detected by a calibrated NaI(Tl) scintillation spectrometer. (GE)
