>The status of power reactor developments in Canada in 1958 is reviewed. The need for nuclear power is discussed, and the program for the immediate future is outiined. Appended is an outline of objectives for the full scale nuclear power plant project and plant specifications, and a time schedule for the Canadian Deuterium Uranium Reactor (CANDU).
