A semiclassical approach is used to calculate excitation and charge-transfer cross sections in neutral alkali atom-- oxygen collisions at 10 to 10,000 eV. The effects of the simultaneous existence of two final states on the charge-transfer and excitation cross sections are studied. (JFP)
